Gleneagles Out Of Irish Champion

Dual Guineas winner Gleneagles (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) has been scratched from today’s G1 Irish Champion S. due to ground concerns, quashing an anticipated clash with G1 Epsom Derby winner Golden Horn (GB) (Cape Cross {Ire}). Gleneagles has not raced since taking the G1 St. James’s Palace S. at Royal Ascot and had already missed the G1 Sussex S., G1 Prix Jacques le Marois and G1 Juddmonte International due to soft conditions.
